I am a Clinical Psychologist with a private practice in Midtown Manhattan, and am a faculty member of Columbia University in the Department of Psychiatry. I facilitate psychotherapy and skills training groups at the Columbia East 60th Street Day Treatment Program. Additionally, I am adjunct faculty at City University of New York where I am involved in a research project on psychotherapy process and outcome.
BACKGROUND AND TRAINING
My doctoral training was at the University of Innsbruck in Austria, and I completed pre and post doctoral fellowships at Weill Cornell Medical College.
From 2003 to 2004, I was a fellow of the American Psychoanalytic Association, and I trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with the Columbia Anxiety and Traumatic Stress Program.
RESEARCH INTERESTS
My research interests include effectiveness of psychological interventions and relationships between health care providers and patients.
